i'm in the library again. this year the library is the place where i work best. in the past that has not been true but this year it is. i made myself a cup of chocolate milk to inspire me to work harder. it's not working so far. although, i did just get here and i always have to adjust to the atmosphere before i can ever really get work done. this blog entry is part of that adjustment. when i got here all of the tables in the center of the middle floor of the library were taken so i sat over near the reference section and then a table opened and i basically ran for it. i like these tables so much more than any other study area in the library. i don't even mind the new, creepy, touch sensitive lamps. the entire right side of my body is achy today, from playing nerf football at the post office all morning yesterday with kelly and rachel and tessa and alex. i keep considering taking aspirin, and then i just don't.
yesterday at brunch i lost my favorite blue cardigan... well i know where i left it so i didn't really lose it but when i went back to find it where i had forgotten it a half hour prior it was gone, someone took it. sweaters don't just disappear. i was really upset that my favorite sweater was gone, but i think i am even more upset at the moral compasses of my classmates. i don't understand the mentality of a person who finds a sweater that isn't theirs and just keeps it. so bizzare and disappointing.
it is humid and gross everywhere on campus right now. i tried turning the ac on in my room but apparently they shut it off because warm air was the only thing blowing out of the vents. so i turned it off. it is gross here in the library too, but at least there are large tables for me to spread out my work on.
i have a really lot of work to do today, and tomorrow and tuesday. and wednesday too. 2 papers to write, a book to make, chapters to read. hopefully some company will appear soon.
biden v. palin on thursday. i really hope
